Having grown up in the foster care system, they lack the stable support systems that many take for granted. These young adults may have experienced multiple changes in living arrangements, schools, and caregivers. As they age out of the system, they often face the daunting task of navigating the complexities of independent living, education, and employment without the safety net of a stable family environment.
